At first encounter, this pale and polished wine is lively, fresh, and fruity. These are characteristic Grenache blanc traits; the 2016 Chrome delivers so much more. Generous ripe pear, quince, and melon fruit make way for delicate honeysuckle, lemongrass, and brioche in the nose. The balanced acid and rindy flavors of clementine rush in to claim the palate, bringing with it a nice clean and compact texture that crystalizes into a long, lean finish.
